I think making video films and occasionally participating in vid contests is not a big deal and it is a very big deal. Like blogging. It is nothing particular in itself, but it gives you a free and fast outlet of your creative powers. Yes, I find video recording, editing, remixing liberating.

If I made any videos? Yes, sure I made. Here is one about open source hardware at a 2007 Make Festival – it’s the most simple thing to record an interview and share precious info with others. This video is to a very niche audience yet, but more and more people are hacking things around them. :)
