Turn Around America Video Contest

Posted by videocontests on April 10, 2008

This video contest is pretty serious about asking you ‘What’s wrong with America?” and is trying to seek ways to turn around bad trends.

Here’s the video to urge you for participation in the contest:

To quote from the organizers:

Our goal is to start a new kind of national conversation through this video contest. This contest is not about winning iPods™ or flat-screen TVs, the stakes are much higher. This is about making your voice heard and earning a platform in our national conversation on the future, the upcoming election and beyond.

But there is a cash award too of $2000, and in certain cities $1,000 and more.

I like this video contest and the intended message.

Current Online Video Contests

Posted by videocontests on April 3, 2008

There’s a natural abundance of web video contests – most of them are limited to US legal citizens, but a couple of them are open to all over a certain age (usually 18).

Take a look at the current video contests on the web in the Video Contest Calendar, and pick the one that suits your style and fires your inspiration. Prizes are great (up to $25,000), but entering a video contest in itself is simply a great learning experience and fun!
